Not all historic buildings have had the same luck ... The one, located at 15, rue de Lorraine, built in 1930, of lower quality and poorly maintained, was demolished in 2017 ...

Mansion "Heritage and Collection" , Classified as "Protected Heritage of Maisons Laffitte", exceptional by its location, its history and its state of conservation, the Residence La Lorraine is highly sought after: each apartment is a unique testimony to the Ile de France Estate Heritage . Those who are lucky enough to live there know it well: some owners have remained the same since the sale in 1983 of the apartments by Marcel Bernois. Since then, the few that are put up for sale quickly find takers!

This scarcity is reflected in the evolution of prices since the early 1980s.

Multiplied by 6 in 40 years , they increase with each (rare!) sale: continuing on this trend, they could soon exceed the threshold of 7000 € / m2.

This figure still seems "cheap": it corresponds, in the same sector, to the starting price of new "basic" apartments which increases quickly in case of particular characteristics (favorable orientation for example).

Indeed, thanks to its dominant position, Résidence La Lorraine offers, on the upper floors, a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire west of Paris: from the Church of Saint Nicolas to the lighthouse of the Eiffel Tower, yet located 15 kilometers away, including the Skyscrapers of La Défense, the Château de Maisons...
