Imperial City: label awarded to Cities with remarkable Imperial Heritage. Maisons Laffitte owes it mainly to its Castle, built in the XVIIth century, holiday resort of the emperor Napoleon Ier and to the adjacent Park which occupies more than half of the surface of the City.
